The Application Process

After completing the form, review all information carefully before submission. Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application.

The Membership Committee will carefully assess your application, verify the provided information, and review your supporting documents.

If additional documents or clarifications are required, you’ll be contacted to provide them. Ensure all documents are authentic and up-to-date.

Interviewing Process

Shortlisted applicants may be invited for a brief interview or interaction (physical or virtual) to further evaluate their qualifications and professional alignment with NIIE’s objectives.

Final Decision

After the review and interview stages, successful applicants will receive official confirmation of membership along with details on next steps, such as fee payment and induction.

Membership Categories

1. Student Member

For undergraduates or postgraduates studying industrial engineering or related disciplines.

2. Graduate Member

For graduates of industrial engineering or allied fields with less than three years of professional experience.

3. Corporate Member

For practising engineers and professionals with relevant qualifications and at least three years of post-graduation experience.

4. Fellow

For senior professionals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the development of industrial engineering.
